Hi everyone, our names are Lindsay and Joshua and we are Mismatch Magic! We are a couple who started as best friends and progressed to partners over the last ten years. We feel incredibly lucky that while we are complete opposites, we find the best in one another and life life to its fullest, together. Despite being so different from one another, our commonalities are that we are equally as passionate about food, theme parks and travel. We are also the proud parents of two beloved, black Labrador Retrievers named Cora and Caia. We are thrilled to be launching this joint blog and hope that you are able to utilize our content to help plan your next restaurant visit or trip to Walt Disney World!
About Lindsay
Lindsay currently works in death investigation following years of study in the fields of archaeology, anthropology, pathology, paleopathology and forensic science. When she isn’t working, Lindsay finds joy in reading and writing (she is currently working on a new adult fantasy novel), going to the beach, participating in organized beach clean ups, spending time with Joshua, their two dogs and planning their next trip, whether it is to a local food festival or a multi-day trip abroad to Rome, Italy. Lindsay’s educational background and love of travel has taken her to Italy, Greece, Switzerland and Israel.
About Joshua
Joshua, preferred to be called Josh, is pursuing a career as an aviation mechanic after years of studying theatre. When Joshua isn’t working, he finds joy in playing video games, going to the gym, trying and cooking new food and spending time with Lindsay and their two dogs. Joshua’s love of travel has taken him to Jamaica, the United Kingdom, France, Italy and Spain. Above all else, Joshua is a massive Disney fan and enjoys frequenting the Disney Parks, with a bucket list goal to visit every Disney Park across the globe. Joshua’s favorite Disney character list is endless, but the characters at the very top of his list are Jafar and Goofy.
